Hi,

So it took some work but today I earned my yellow belt in Python on CodeWars. Now, I’m focused on getting familiar with the internal APIs of Python. When I finally earn my blue belt, that’s when I’ll start focusing on big O from the get-go. I still make sure my code isn’t inefficient, but moving from ‘Novice Programmer’ to ‘Competent Programmer’ will change my mindset.

Now, onto the goal of earning my blue belt! My goal of the year was to get blue and as a bonus, try to get my purple belt. It’s only been a month and I already have my yellow belt! The year is starting pretty well 🙂
